Kim Tempel, 31, of Kamrar, died Sunday, September 21, 2003 at the Midwestern Regional Medical Center at Zion. IL. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Thursday at the Foster Funeral Home, with Rev. Julian Swanson officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Jewell. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 pm Wednesday and prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Kimberly Sue Anderson, daughter of Marvin and Ruth Johnston Anderson, was born December 30, 1971 at Boone. She received her education at the Dayton Public School and graduated from Southeast Webster. On February 26, 1998 she married Michael Allen Tempel at Dayton. The couple resided at Kamrar. Her employment included Casey's as assistant manager, Tasler Pallet. Custom Meats and Morton Manufacturing, all in Webster City. She had retired because of failing health.

Mrs. Tempel is survived by her husband. Mike, sons, Tanner and Trey Tempel, her parents, Marvin and Ruth Anderson of Harcourt, brother, Mark Anderson of Boxholm, sister, Teresa Batterson of Duncombe, nieces, Haleigh and Brittany Batterson, maternal grandmother, Darlene Johnston of Moberly, Mo., mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law, Pam and Dick Conkling of Webster City, Harold and Pat Tempel of Urbandale.

She was preceded in death by a son, Blake Michael Tempel in 1993, grandparents, Lawrence Johnston, Melvin and Elizabeth Anderson, brother, Michael Anderson.

She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church at Dayton.
