Funeral services for Jennie A. Hinderks, 84, a longtime Kamrar area resident, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Church of Kamrar with the Rev. Marvin L. Camp officiating. Burial is to be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Foster Funeral Home until 10 a.m. Wednesday, when the casket will be taken to the church.

Mrs. Hinderks died Monday morning at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames, where she had been a patient for the past six days. She had been in ill health for the past two months.

Jennie A. Klooster, the daughter of Karl and Rena Tapper Klooster, was born Jan. 19, 1898, on a farm near Webster City. She was reared and educated in the Kamrar area and was married March 26, 1925 to Henry Hinderks.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dec. 25, 1943, but continued to live on the farm until 1972 when she moved into Webster City. For the past nine years she had lived at Crestview Apartments.

She is survived by six sons and a daughter, Dennis, Doris, Leo, Arvin and Kenneth, all of Webster City, Merrill of Jewell and Eldon of Woolstock, 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

She was a longtime member of the Community Church of Kamrar, the women's fellowship of the church and the Hamilton County Hospital Auxiliary.
