Ray Luppes, age 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 23, 2015. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Private services for the family will be held on Saturday.

Raymond Paul Luppes, son of Harm and Hilka Luppes, was born on December 21, 1930 five miles east of Kamrar in the same house he lived in until he retired. He was born again on May 6, 1951, when he accepted the Lord as his Savior. Ray became a member of the Blairsburg Christian and Missionary Alliance Church on November 15, 1959, and remained an active member for over 50 years.

Ray married JoAnn Malaise on August 10, 1952 and together they spent four years (1951-1955) at Northwestern Bible College in Minneapolis. They moved back to the farm near Kamrar on March 1, 1959, and farmed there for more than 36 years before retiring and moving to Webster City in December 1995.

He is survived by his daughter Lila (Paul) Losli (Spring Lake Park, MN), daughter Carla (Clayton) Voegele (Huron, SD), and son Lyle (Kathy) Luppes (Rosemount, MN), seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents Harm and Hilka, wife JoAnn, brother Melroy, sister Eleanor Bernard, and sister Erma Studley.
