Mrs. Eleanor Glawe, 55, died Tuesday afternoon at the Hamilton county hospital following a short illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. Harvey Prinz officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood cemetery near Stratford.

Eleanor Evelyn Johnson, daughter of Nels and H. Ida Johnson, was born Sept 23, 1909, on a farm near Stratford. She was reared and educated in the Stanhope-Stratford community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Valmah Glawe, and by her parents.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter Lee Clabaugh of Stanhope, Lyal Clabaugh of Des Moines and Mrs. Geraldine Brower of Barstow. Calif, four grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters, Lloyd R. Johnson of Dayton, Clifford Johnson of Stratford, Mrs J.C. (Delma) Spitler, Mrs. Noble (Helen) Johnson of Apache Junction, Ariz. and Mrs. Ray (Ruth) Nail of Eagle Grove. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Glawe was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
