Linda Mae Ziemer, 71 of Clear Lake, Iowa died Saturday May 16, 2015 in Story City, Iowa. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the Clear Lake Church of Christ; Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 1:00PM at the Clear Lake Church of Christ with Pastor Brad Sheldon officiating.

Linda was born on September 7, 1943 in Mason City, Iowa to Harvey E and Opal Irene (Utter) Schultz. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1961, and then attended the Minnesota Bible College. Linda married LeRoy L. Ziemer on December 14, 1963.

Linda worked in various service oriented jobs, the most important being a stay at home mom for her three children. Later she worked in metal shops as a punch press operator. She was a member of the Clear Lake Church of Christ. Linda enjoyed reading, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

Linda’s family includes: her husband LeRoy; daughter Renee (Kevin) Frerichs of Des Moines, IA; sons: Randy of Coon Rapids, MN and Richard of Allison, IA; four grandchildren: Bethany Jo (fiancée Wes), John (Ashley), Joselyn and Austin; brother Gary Schultz; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law Nancy Schultz; several other brother’s and sister’s in law; grandson Isaiah; and granddaughter Rebekah.
