Services for William W. Nott, 67, a longtime Webster City area resident who died Tuesday afternoon at the Tompkins Health Center in Fort Dodge where he had resided for the past three years, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral Home. He had been in ill health for the last five years.

The Rev. Paul Williamson and Rev. C.H. Petterson will officiate. Burial will be made in the Cass Center Cemetery near Webster City.

William W. Nott, son of Thaddeus and Nellie Grisby Nott, was born April 8, 1907, at Cuba, Ill. He was reared and educated at Lewistown, Ill.

He was united in marriage on March 21, 1928, to Hazel Isham, and the couple farmed in Illinois, later moving to Iowa, where they farmed until moving to Webster City three years ago.

He is survived by his wife; one son, William W. Nott, Jr. of Centerville, three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild. He is also survived by three sisters; Mrs. Nellie Anspach of Sterling, Ill.; Mrs. Bill (Bessie) Dissman of Havana, Ill., and by Mrs. Charles (Lena) Randall of Ames.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

He was a member of the Asbury United Methodist church.
