Hazel Nott, 91, Webster City, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001 at Crestview Manor. Mrs. Nott was cremated. Memorial services will be Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 1:30 p.m. at the Asbury United Methodist Church, with Cindi O'Brien, ministry assistant officiating. Burial will be in the Cass Township Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be at the church after 12 p.m. Wednesday.

Hazel Alene Isham, daughter of Ray and Frances Coats Isham, was born Sept. 20, 1909 at Silver Bull, Mt. She moved with her parents to Iowa. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Webster City in 1927. On March 31, 1928, she married William Wallace Nott at Cuba, Il. The couple farmed in Illinois, then moved to Iowa and farmed south of Webster City. In 1971, they moved to Webster City. She worked at Eichman's Clothing, and Jack and Jill's. Mr. Nott died July 16, 1974. She retired in 1991. She resided at Crestview since May of 1995.

She is survived by grandchildren and spouses, Michael and Dorene Nott of North Liberty, Laura Nott of Newport Beach, Ca, David and Barbara Nott of North Port, Fl., great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Lance Cross of Marion, Becky and Christopher Nott of North Liberty, great-great-grandson Johnathon Cross; former daughter-in-law Mary Struchen, Webster City, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, son, Bill Nott, Jr in 1977, brother Pat Isham, sisters Mary Ellen Van Doren, Laura Moore, Alyce Singer and Martha Isham.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, was involved in many church activities and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
