Wynne Ventling, 47, Dallas, Texas, a former Webster City resident, died Monday, Dec. 31, following a short illness. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 4, in Dallas. Correspondence may be sent to the family at 9717 Edgepine, Dallas, Texas 75238. Memorials may be given to the Ronald McDonald House in Dallas.

Wynne Ventling was born Sept. 7, 1943, and was a member of the Webster City High School Class of 1961. He graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., and the Hamline University Law School in St. Paul, Minn.

He is survived by his wife, Jessie, and three daughters, Ellen, Joy and Sarah, all of Dallas; his mother, Thelma Ventling, Webster City; two brothers, Renner "Chip" Ventling, of Indiana and Wayne "Ladd" Ventling, Corpus Christi, Texas; and a sister, Madonna Ventling, Davenport.

Mr. Ventling was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City.
