JEWELL - Mrs. Hannah Wing, 77, died Sunday evening at Still hospital in Des Moines following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Becker funeral home and at 2 p.m. at the Bethesda Lutheran church in Jewell, the Rev. I. B. Sorensen officiating. Burial will be at the Zion cemetery northwest of Jewell.

Hannah Johnson, daughter of John and Anna Fausk Johnson, was born Feb. 23, 1875 at Clinton, Iowa.

She was united in marriage Oct. 10, 1898, to Goodman Wing in Hamilton county and the couple had lived in Jewell since that time. Mrs. Wing had been a resident of Jewell for 65 years.

Mr. Wing died several years ago and she was also preceded in death by three children. Survivors include four children: Joseph M. Wing of Columbus, Ohio; Anna C. Oberender of Jewell; Clarence A. Wing of Des Moines and Harold B. Wing of Dallas; a sister, Bertha Gimre of Story City; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Wing was a member of the Bethesda church in Jewell.
