Funeral services for Oliver Rethman, a former Hamilton County resident, were held Dec. 27 at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Stanhope.

Mr. Rethman, a Mira Loma, Calif., resident, died Dec. 20 at Loma Linda, Calif.

He was born and raised in Webster City. He married Alma Hove and the couple lived in Stanhope for many years where he drove for the Hove Truck Line.

They moved to Longmont, Calif. where they resided for 12 years. In 1979, the couple relocated in California.

Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Marlys (Mrs. Wes) Olson of Rowland Heights, Calif.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Herman of Martensdale, Ralph of Palentina, Calif., and Emma Pruismann of Conrad.

He was preceded in death by a son, Randall.

Homer Danielson was the soloist and Emmett Olson was the organist at the Stanhope service.
