Frank M. Meller, 68, a longtime Webster City resident, died this morning at the Iowa Soldiers Home in Marshalltown where he had been residing the past three years.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church with Father Edgar Kurt officiating and with burial in Calvary cemetery here.

Rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral home.

Frank Mathias Meller, son of Edward J. and Regina Hillemeyer Meller, was born Nov. 15, 1902 at Webster City, where he was reared and educated.

He was employed for many years at the Beam Mfg. Co., and served during World War 2 in the U.S. Army, leaving Webster City with Co. E in 1941. He was also a member of the National Guard for 30 years.

He is survived by one sister and one brother, Mrs. Alma Olson of San Bernardino, Calif., and Eugene E. Meller of Fairborn, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

He was a member of the American Legion and had been a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas parish.
