Graveside services will be held at approximately 4:30 Thursday afternoon, December 4th at Homewood Cemetery for Mrs. Evelyn Olsen, 72, who passed away Monday, December 1, 1952 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray Grant at Rockwell City. Church services will be at the American Lutheran Church in Rockwell City.

Mrs. Olsen, a former Ellsworth resident, had been ill for some time and was a patient in the Fort Dodge hospital for three weeks beginning August 7th. She had been under the care of a nurse the past six weeks. Death was due as the result of cancer.

Mrs. Olsen is survived by two children, Mrs. Grant (Viola) and John Olsen of Jewell, also three grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Godfrey Thoreson of Nevada and Mrs. John Krogatie of Los Angeles, Calif., also two brothers, Nels Sexe of San Francisco, Calif., and Harvey Sexe of Dakota City, Iowa. Her husband and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sexe preceded her in death.

She was born June 8, 1880 in Illinois and came to the Ellsworth community at an early age, leaving here 17 years ago to make her home with her daughter. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at that time.
