Elsie Grace Jacobson, 80, Story City, died of pneumonia, Thursday, May 5, 1983, at Bethany Manor Nursing Home, Story City, where she had lived since June of 1980.

Services will be Monday, May 9, at 2 p.m. at Elim Lutheran church, Randall, with the Rev. Larry Tantow officiating. Burial will be in the Mamrelund Cemetery, east of Randall.

Grace Olson was born January 19, 1903 near Randall, to Martin and Belle Olson. On June 1, 1921, she married Archie S. Jacobson. They farmed east of Randall and then moved to Story City in 1966.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Jacobson, rural Story City, and Lowell Jacobson, Jewell; six grandchildren; three brothers, Milo Olson of Randall, Floyd Olson of Jewell and Clifford Olson of Story City; three sisters, Genora Larson of Kenyon, Minn., Myra Affalter of Plattsburg, Mo., and Beatrice Grieman of Jewell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, March 26, 1972; two brothers; and an infant son.
