Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at Elim Lutheran church for Adolphus (Jack) Paggett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Olger Lenning of Story City.

Jack died Sunday morning following an auto accident in which he was injured Saturday night.

The accident occurred in Chicago, Jack having made his home in suburban Highland Park, Ill.

With him in the car at the time of the accident was his brother, Bill, who was on leave from the navy at that time, and who is now in the Great Lakes naval hospital in Chicago.

Besides his mother and brother, Jack is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Christian Tjernagel of Randall and Mrs. Merlin Doolittle of Story City; and two brothers, Don of Highland Park, Ill., and Larry of Story City. One sister was killed in an accident several years ago.
