Mrs. H.B. Hanson received the sad news Monday evening from her husband at Tacoma, Washington stating that their daughter, Mollie, had died Saturday, Aug. 13th. Mrs. Powers is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Hanson of Randall. Mr. Hanson was with her at the time of her death.

Mollie Josephine Hanson, was born June 12, 1886 at Minneapolis, Minn., and was baptized in the Lutheran church by Rev. Vangness. She moved to Randall as a little child with her parents. At the age of 14 years she was confirmed in Elim Lutheran church, by the Rev. Heidal. Later she was married in Des Moines and moved to Tacoma, Wash. where she died in the hospital, Saturday, Aug. 13, at the age of 46 years, 2 months and 1 day, after an illness of two months.

Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church in Tacoma, conducted by the Rev. Svare.

Mrs. Powers leaves to mourn her passing, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Hanson, four sisters, Mrs. Clarence Thompson of Des Moines, Mrs. Wm. Anderson of Patterson, Calif; Mrs. Ray Anderson and Mrs. Jack Paggett of Randall; two brothers, Melvin Hanson of Des Moines and Raymon Hanson of Randall. The heartfelt sympathy of their many friends is extended to the bereaved relatives.
