Taken from a scrapbook compiled by Lois Elaine Anderson Thompson that will be housed in the Ellsworth Library, Ellsworth, Iowa

On July 19, 1908 at Tacoma, Washington, a baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Blades. Its mission here was brief, however; for its little life had scarce begun ere its spirit winged its flight to Heaven.

Mrs. Blades will be remembered as Miss Mollie Hanson, formerly of this place.
