KG "Jerry" Farnham, 84, of Webster City, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, February, 14, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Asbury United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Flagg, officiating. Following the service a private burial will be held. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the church.

Jerry was born on July 30, 1930, in Webster City, Iowa, the son of Harold and Elizabeth (Allen) Farnham. Jerry graduated from Webster City High School and then served in the U.S. Air Force. After leaving the military with an honorable discharge, he joined the Hamilton County Sheriff's office as a deputy sheriff. After eighteen years as a deputy, Jerry was elected as Sheriff for twenty years. He attended the National Sheriff's Institute at the University of Southern California and the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy.

On November 19, 1965 he and Gwen Klaver Foell were married in St. Paul, Minnesota. They made their home in Webster City. During his retirement Jerry enjoyed restoring gas engines, John Deere tractors, and woodworking. He enjoyed farming in the spring and the fall. He was a current member of the Legion Post #191, VFW and a past member of the State Sheriff's & Deputies Association.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gwen, daughter Karen "KC" (Michael) Constant; son, Kevin Foell; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mitch) Ewart, Heather Foell and fiancé Rory, Luke (Amy) Johnson and great-grandchildren, Landon and Leo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Don and grandson Nicholas Foell.
