SERVICE FOR MRS. WAHLERS

Funeral to Be at 1:30 at Foster's and at 2 at Local Church

Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Wahlers, 59, will be held at the Foster funeral home Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and at St. Paul's Lutheran church at 2 o'clock with the Rev. W. C. Fleischer officiating at German services. Burial will be made in Graceland cemetery.

Mrs. Wahlers died at the hospital here yesterday afternoon. She had been taken there for an X-ray, following a fall at her home the night before, and suffered a heart attack. She had been in poor health for many years.

Dorothea Ernstina Elizabeth Kriel (Criel) was born Sept. 8, 1879, at Pleasant Plain, Ill., and came to Webster City in 1895, living on a farm northwest of town.

She was married to Joseph Wahlers in this city April 5, 1899, and for many years they lived on a farm near Kamrar, where their son, Fred, now lives.

They moved to town in 1926, living at 1117 Water street. She leaves her husband, her son, her mother, Mrs. Sofie Kriel, of Plazerville, Calif., three sisters and three brothers. They are: Mrs. F. Schweiger, of this city; Mrs. Carrie Worthington, and Mrs. Sofie Clifton, of Plazerville, Calif., John, of Olivia, Minn., Will, of Rush City, Minn., and Emil, of Wisconsin.

She was a life long member of the Lutheran church.
