BOONE - Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Stark, 77, a former Hamilton county resident, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Stark-Welin Funeral chapel in Boone with the Rev. Richard Goins officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery at Webster City at about 3 p.m.

Mrs. Stark died Tuesday at the Boone County hospital where she had been a patient the past two weeks.

Myrtle Egland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Egland, was born March 16, 1901 in Hamilton county.

She was married Feb. 19, 1920, to Glen Stark at Des Moines, who preceded her in death in February, 1958. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Perry (LaVonne) Richeson of Boone; three sons, Leon Stark of Stratford, John Stark of Polk City, and Sterling Stark of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Stark attended the Central Christian church in Boone. She was a member of the Boone American Legion Auxiliary.
