Funeral services for Glen L. Stark, 56, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. Robert Scott officiating. Burial will be made in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Stark died suddenly Friday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Barr, six miles south of Webster City, where Mr. and Mrs. Stark had been visiting. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Glen Leo Stark, son of John and Lilly Stark, was born July 5, 1901, on a farm near Elwood, Neb. At an early age, he moved with his parents to a farm near Stanhope. He was reared and educated in the Stanhope community.

He was united in marriage Feb. 19, 1920 to Myrtle Egland, and Mr. and Mrs. Stark farmed north of Stanhope for 21 years. They then moved into Stanhope where Mr. Stark engaged in selling hybrid seed corn. For the past five years they had made their home on a farm seven miles southeast of Boone.

Mr. Stark is survived by his wife, three sons and one daughter: Leon Stark of Boone; John Stark, Des Moines; Sterling Stark, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Perry (LaVonne) Richeson, Boone; nine grandchildren; one sister and four brothers, Mrs. Harley (Martha) Vaubel, Marion A. Stark of Sacramento, Calif.; Ernest I. Stark, of Boone; Orlin J. Stark of Stanhope and Weldon C. Stark of Des Moines; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Stark was preceded in death by his parents.
