Mrs. Ben Johnson Dies at County Home Hospital and is Buried in Randall.
Randall, Iowa, Nov. 21. Mrs. Ben Johnson died at the county home hospital Monday night at 5 o’clock after suffering much agony for several years. Following the death of her husband she suffered a nervous breakdown, resulting in locomotor ataxia. Following the death of her husband she moved from their farm two miles west of Randall to Story City where she was being cared for by Mrs. Wiggens at the time of her death.
She was 41 years and seven months old. Two sisters, Martha Thoreson and Mrs. Eddie Johnson, of Morris, Ill., and one daughter Clarice Johnson, are left to mourn her death. The body was brought to Randall Thursday and funeral services were conducted by Rev. G. O. Paulsrud at Elim Lutheran church. Burial was made in the Mount Olive cemetery beside her husband.
