Died- In this village, on Wednesday, Nov. 25th [1857], Mrs. Melissa Maxwell, wife of Hon. J. D. Maxwell, aged 49 years and 7 months.
The deceased has been favorably known for many years as a member of the Presbyterian church, and an exemplary wife and mother.
