Murlee D. Hanson, 82, Pepin, Wis., died Monday, Dec. 18, 2006 at her home in Pepin. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6 in Arcadia, Wis. Burial was in Arcadia Public Cemetery. She was born Aug. 7, 1924 in Webster City to Luther and Vera Boozell Myers. On July 3, 1959, Murlee married Ardell M. Hanson in Belle Fourche, S.D.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Pamela (Thomas) Buggs of Cottage Grove Minn., three step-children; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Beverly Caylor of Storm Lake, Francis Bernard of Des Moines and Donna (Charles) Capsel of Webster City. Preceding Murlee in death were her parents, a sister, a brother, step-father and a stepson.
