Mrs. Henry J. (Tillie) Hanson, 81, longtime Kamrar and Webster City resident, died Monday morning at Crestview Manor where she has resided the past two months. She had been in ill health the past three months.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. R.M. Roden officiating and burial at Graceland cemetery.

Tillie Klaver, daughter of George G. and Jennie Temple [Tempel] Klaver, was born October 14, 1896 at Kamrar where she was reared and educated.

She was united in marriage March 31, 1915 to Henry J. Hanson. The couple resided in Kamrar, later moving to Webster City where Mr. Hanson was employed by the former Kayser Ford Motor Company for several years. He then owned and operated the Hanson DX Service Station here. In 1949 the family moved to Battle Lake, Minn, where Mr. and Mrs. Hanson owned and operated the Hanson Beauty Beach Resort on Deer Lake for 19 years.

Mrs. Hanson was preceded in death by her husband, who died Jan. 22, 1968, and she then returned to Webster City, making her home at 526 1/2 Second St. She is survived by three sons and one daughter, Harold H. Hanson, Elbow Lake, Minn.; Lloyd L. Hanson, Newton; Willis J. Hanson, Milton, N.D. and Mrs. Paul (Karen) Olson, Lincoln, Neb. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Gertie Letcher, Buffalo Center; Peter Klaver, Jewell; Mrs. Fred, (Jennie) McCameron, Waukee; Mrs. Marie Read, Webster City; Mrs. Vic (Freda) Lockwood, Webster City and Bernard Klaver, Jewell.

Mrs. Hanson was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Webster City and the Senior Citizens Club.
