Joyce Denker, 73, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at UK Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. She had been a resident of London, Kentucky for the past nine years. Prior to that, she had resided in Henderson and Las Vegas, Nevada. She retired from Clark County Juvenile Court Services, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Joyce was born in October of 1940 to Art and Thelma (Lindsey) Reimers in Vincent, Iowa. She graduated in 1958 from Lincoln High School, Webster City, Iowa.

She is survived by four children. Shanda (Graves) Perkins, Layne Graves, wife Gloria, Brooke (Denker) Whitehead, husband John, and Juliana Probst. She was blessed with ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Betty Pieper, Norma Lundgren and brother, Jack Reimers, wife Sheryl, and Joyce's former husband, Richard Denker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Art Reimers Jr., brothers-in-law, Curt Pieper and George Lundgren Jr., nieces, Kaylene Hudspeth and Vicki Lundgren.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, Iowa.
