Word has been received here of the death of a former resident, Stephen P. Clement, 29, who was the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Paul Clement, former pastor of Trinity Lutheran church at Webster City from 1955 to 1962.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Elkhart, Ind.

Stephen Clement was born in Mukwanago, Wis. on Oct. 18, 1951, and attended Pleasant View elementary school in Webster City. He was graduated from Jefferson high school in Lafayette, Ind. in 1970.

He had been employed for several years as a carpenter and construction worker in Portland, Ore.

Surviving are his parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Paul Clement of Elkhart; two sisters, Mrs. R. H. Sanders of Olympia. Wash., and Mrs. Beth Cable of Webster City and one brother, Timothy Clement of Elkhart.

The Rev. Mr. Clement is pastor of the Redeemer Lutheran church at Elkhart.
