Beulah Clum, Webster City

Beulah Clum, 79, Webster City, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998 at the Hamilton Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 1:30 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and prior to the services on Tuesday.

Beulah Mae Scott, daughter of George and Cora Burleson Scott, was born October 16, 1918 on a farm north of Stratford. She attended rural schools and graduated from Stratford High School in 1938.

She married John Gordon Clum on July 27, 1941 at Ellsworth. The couple farmed n the Stanhope-Webster City area. They moved to Webster City in 1950 and she worked for Morton's Frozen Foods and for five years worked at Dunn's Food Store in the bakery department. She retired in 1964.

She is survived by her husband John, a son and daughter-in-law, George and Leandra Clum of Webster City; grandchildren, Rodney and Kyle Clum and Staci Goos; great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Kameron and Courtney Clum and Austin Goos; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her parents; sisters, Emma Burton, Florence Nickles, Daisey Kent, Ruth Merrill, Clara Carpenter and Myrtle Davis; brothers, Willis, Glen, George, and Clarence Scott.
