Gloria H. Hoversten, of Eagle Rock, Calif., passed away at Solheim Lutheran Home in Eagle Rock, Calif. on Aug. 23, 2010. She graduated from Stanhope High School with the class of 1940.

Gloria was preceded in death by her father Ben Hoversten, mother Anna Mathre Hoversten Sealine, step-father Arnold Sealine, all from Stanhope, and a brother Stanley Hoversten, of Riverside, Calif. She is survived by a niece Sandra Hoversten Yarrow and husband Jim Yarrow of Granite Bay, Calif; sister-in-law Jan Hoversten of Riverside, Calif., step-brother Orien Sealine and wife Betty, of Stanhope; and numerous grand-nieces and -nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Committal services to be held at a later date at St. Paul's Cemetery southeast of Stanhope.

Inurnment services for Gloria Hoversten will be held at St. Paul's cemetery at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30. Celebration of life with lunch following.
