Phyllis Jean (Risk) Patterson, our Angel, went to join our other Angels on August 10, 2010.

Phyllis was born in Webster City, Iowa on August 27, 1926. She graduated from Webster City High School and married the love of her life, Ned Phillip Patterson in 1945. Ned and Phyllis have lived in Webster City, Iowa, Rockford, Illinois, Mankato, Minnesota and San Diego, California. Phyllis relocated back to Minnesota from California to be close to her family.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Ned; parents, Jeannette Ackley and Elburt Risk; step-dad, Paul Ackley; sisters, Fern Reinsel and Arlene Mutchler. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Schrader; granddaughters, Mandi Grudek and Sasha Schrader-Rodriguez of San Diego, CA; her devoted son and primary caregiver, Michael (Pam) Patterson; granddaughter, Nichole Abrams; grandsons, Adam, Tyler and Dylan Patterson of Lakeville, MN; son, Philip (Nancy) Patterson; granddaughters, Lisa Krocak and Jolene Patterson; grandson, Daniel Patterson of Mankato, MN; great-grandchildren, Michael, Gracie, Rob and Bob Grudek, Mia, David and Edgar Schrader-Rodriguez, Bryce Abrams, Noah and Leah Patterson.

Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, August 16 at All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Ave., Lakeville, MN. Visitation one hour prior. Mom we will miss your support, your truthfulness, your playfulness but most of all a shoulder for us to rely on The backbone of our family.
