Luckie Anderson, 54, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at his home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton. Allan Christopherson officiated. Visitation was held Tuesday from 10:00 a.m., until the time of services at the funeral home. Private family burial took place at Oakwood Cemetery in Stratford.

Luckie Paul Anderson was born on September 10, 1955, in Webster City, Iowa, the son of Paul and Bessie (Brinkema) Anderson. He was born again on April 1, 1977. Luckie grew up in Kamrar and graduated with the South Hamilton High School class of 1973. He spent his adult life in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Kansas City, Missouri. On September 15, 1984 Luckie was united in marriage to Brooke Dunker in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The couple later divorced. Luckie was a home siding and window contractor, owning and operating Anderson Siding & Window.

Survivors include his mother Bessie Anderson; brother Scott Anderson, nephew Rex Anderson; and niece Kim Anderson, all of Stratford, Iowa; as well as his former wife, Brooke Anderson of Kansas City, Missouri. His father preceded him in death.
