Tyler Frances Allen, the son of Richard and Wyn Ann (Messerly) Allen, was born October 11, 1982 at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines. He was raised and educated in the area of his birth, attending Eagle Grove, Fort Dodge and Webster City schools and graduated from Webster City in 2004.

Tyler moved to the Elm Street House in Webster City in 2001. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove, and Saint Thomas Aquinas in Webster City. Tyler enjoyed people and sports, laughing and smiling.

Tyler passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at the Elm Street House in Webster City at the age of 26 years. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Raymond Edward Allen, infant sister, Wynde Marie Allen; his grandparents, Frank and Fran Allen and Floyd and Winifred Messerly.

Survivors include his parents, Rick and Wyn Ann of Eagle Grove; brothers, Donnie Allen and wife Paula and their children, Wynde and Jennifer of Steamboat Rock and Christian Allen and wife Carol and their children, Bryce and Mason of Wellsburg, several aunts, uncles and friends.

Memorial services will be held Friday, April 17, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove, with Reverend Monsignor John Hemann officiating. Visitation is Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
