Edward Arends, 81, Ackley, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009 at the Franklin General Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Ackley United Methodist Church, Ackley. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church on Thursday. Linn's Funeral Homes Ackley Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
