Geneva E. Cupp, was born on January 24, 1926 on a farm near Rutland, Iowa to Orley and Hazel Alexander. Geneva went to a one room country school where she completed grades one thru eight. She graduated from Webster City Lincoln High School in 1943. Geneva had worked at Firestone and Farm Journal in Webster City. She married Ernie Cupp and to this union two children were born. The couple later divorced. She also worked for Wal Mart in Fort Dodge for almost 20 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Karilyn Cupp of Webster City; sister, Marjorie Alexander of Littleton, CO; cousins, Irma Wiggans of Humboldt; Estella Alexander of Englewood, CO; Mary Alexander of Aurora, CO; and Mildred Graham of Portland, OR.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; son, Keith Cupp in 1999; and brother, Marvin Alexander.

A Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Bibb officiating. Inurnment will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will begin Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the church. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.
