Walter Solbrack, 82, of Webster City, died Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at the Hamilton Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Lawn Hill Cemetery, south of Stanhope, with Rev. John Grebner officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the graveside at the Foster Funeral Home.
Walter Eugene Solbrack, son of Thomas and Mabel Thorsbakken Solbrack, was born November 4, 1921 on a farm near Stanhope. He graduated from Jewell Public School. He resided at Webster City. He had worked as a farm laborer and at a meat packing plant. He had resided at Southfield Wellness Community since 2002.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Clara Solbrack; Alice Noyes; Irene Eggland; brothers, Orlin, Claire and Densel Solbrack.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Webster City.
