Beverly Joan Brock, 83 years young, daughter of Sam and Mary Severson, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at her home in San Antonio, Texas. Beverly was born on April 10, 1926 in Ellsworth, Iowa, and graduated from high school in Ellsworth. She attended business college in Des Moines and subsequently worked at Meredith Publishing Company. On June 19, 1947, she married Victor H. Brock of Ellsworth, and the couple made their home in Webster City. In 1985, Vic and Bev retired to San Antonio.

Beverly enjoyed home decorating, big band music, golfing, bridge, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Vic; daughter and son-in-law Jacky and Ted Surma of Munster, Indiana; son and daughter-in-law Anthony Brock and Suzanne Leaf- Brock of Pine Island, Minnesota; and grandson T.J. Surma, a student at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana.
