L. L. "Joe" Chance, 70, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2009.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years Rosemary, 5 children and their spouses, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A rosary will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009, at 1 p.m. at D W Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P O Box 11454, Alexandria, VA, 22312 or Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11300 W 103rd, Overland Park, KS 66214.
