Marvel Lundquist, 98, of Webster City, died Monday, October 08, 2007 at Crestview Senior Living. A Celebration Of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m.Thursday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Susie Moore officiating. Burial will be prior to the service in the Lawn Hill Cemetery, southeast of Stanhope. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Marvel Glendora Knight, daughter of Daniel and Alma Knight, was born March 24, 1909 on the family farm south of Stanhope. She received her education in the Stanhope

Consolidated School graduating in 1927. She attended advanced schooling at Des Moines, then was employed at the Stanhope Cooperative Elevator. On August 14, 1934, she married Conrad Edward Lundquist at the Stanhope Christian Church. The couple farmed south of Stanhope. In 1986, they moved to Webster City. Marvel was a farm wife and homemaker. Mr. Lundquist died November 8, 1996. She had resided at Crestview Apartments since October of 1996.

Mrs. Lundquist is survived by son and daughter-in-law, David and Donna Lundquist of Webster City; grandchildren, Marty and Marilyn Lundquist of Galena, OH; Mick Lundquist and special friend, Tracey Clark of Ankeny; Matthew and Molly Lundquist of Des Moines; great-grandchildren; Bradley and Megan Lundquist; step-sister, Nilva Jean and spouse, William Henderson of Stanhope; step-niece and step-nephew.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of the Stanhope Parish and Ladies Aid of her church.
