Iva Maria Crovisier Rasmussen was born in David City, Nebraska on July 2, 1909, the daughter of George Crovisier and Lillian Meiers. She grew up in Woolstock. Iva was married to George Rasmussen from Webster City. To this union, two daughters were born, Betty and Norma.

For many years Iva was a homemaker, Mom and a supporter of her husband George’s Appaloosa horse business. Iva was a member of the Webster City Church of Christ and loved her church family.
