Dorothy M. Becker, 75, of Fort Dodge, died Friday, May 18, 2007, at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge. Services will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22 at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stephen Peters officiating. The visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fort Dodge.

Dorothy is survived by her husband William; her children, Steven Becker, Kernersville, NC; Lynda Becker, Jeffrey (Kathy) Becker and Lori (Dan) Cassady, all of Fort Dodge; seven grandchildren; and her brothers and sisters, Duane Jensen, Fort Dodge; Jerry Hayden, Valley, NE; Marlene Anderson and Darrell Jensen, both of Webster City; Marvin Jensen, Eagle Grove; Gary Jensen, Callender; Joyce Hill, Pomeroy and Terry Jensen, Jewell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter-in-law Debra Becker, her brother Howard Jr., and an infant sister Janice.

Dorothy Mae Jensen, the daughter of Howard and Thelma (Snell) Jensen, was born Jan. 30, 1932, in Duncombe. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1950. On June 24, 1952, Dorothy was united in marriage to William Becker at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. Dorothy raised her children at home and then later worked at Becker Florist as a bookkeeper.

Dorothy was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her neighborhood group and cooking for her family. Most of all Dorothy loved her grandchildren.
