Dixie Williams, 67, died January 3, 2009, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House, Ft. Dodge.

Dixie Ann Williams was born June 28, 1941, to Perry and Zelpha (Hurst) Williams in Webster City, where she attended schools and grew to adulthood. She later moved to Ft. Dodge, where she continued to reside and enjoyed many friendships.

Dixie was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, a brother who died in infancy, and a niece.

She is survived by her sister Janice (Robert) Talbott, Tulsa, Okla., brother, Gene (Maria) Williams, Springfield, MO., and by niece, Leslie Talbott, Tulsa; nephews, Lance Talbott, Tulsa; Gene P. (Patty) Williams, Del City, Okla.; and Steven Williams, Springfield, MO. She is also survived by 3 great nephews and a great niece, and numerous cousins, including Patty (Williams) Walker, who, with her husband Jim, provided Dixie much love and caring assistance during the past several years.

No immediate services are planned; a memorial service will be held in Webster City at a later date.
