Donald Dean Johnson, 59, Williams, died on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls. Funeral services were held Monday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Williams with burial in the Williams Cemetery. Surls Funeral Chapel in Williams handled the arrangements.

Donald Dean Johnson was born on May 13, 1949 in Iowa Falls, Iowa, the son of Howard and Shirley (Reinsel) Johnson. He was a 1967 graduate of the Northeast Hamilton High School. He worked at Hoelscher Ag Dist. out of Alden and was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Williams.

Donald is survived by his two sons, Nathaniel Johnson of Lake Park and Matthew Johnson and his wife, Molly of Cherokee; two brothers, Doug Johnson and his wife, Cindy of Alden and Drew Johnson of St. Marys, GA; a sister, Diane Johnson of Randall; and a sister-in-law, Amy Johnson of Lakeside. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David.
