Irene L. Billings, 93 of Ames, died on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in rural Jewell. A luncheon will be served following the service. Burial is in the Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Becker Funeral Home in Jewell is handling arrangements.

Irene is survived by a brother, Eugene (Ruth) Olson, of Jewell, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund has been established in Irene's name.

Becker Funeral Home of Jewell has been entrusted arrangements.
