James Gilbert Bayliss 73, a long time resident of Webster City died July 19 in Peoria, Ariz. Jim passed away quietly at his home with family at his side.

He was a long time city employee, volunteer fire fighter and served in the US Army. Jim is survived by 5 sisters: Sandra Clark of Peoria, AZ, Judy Kovacs of Eagle Grove, Linda (Steve) Retel of Tucson, Ariz, D. Eldenna Maro of Boone, Elaine Morris; a step son Ronald and 2 grandchildren, Dani and James McEntire. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dean and step-son Donnie. He will be missed by many including Bobbie Keller with whom he shared a parent like relationship.
