Ruby E. Vulgamott, 70, Princeton, Mo., died Thursday morning, June 19, 2003. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton, Mo., with Rev. Jean Osborn officiating. Cremation will be held following the service. Visitation will be a the funeral home on Saturday from 7-8 p.m.
Ruby E. Vulgamott was born Oct. 9, 1932 in Kearney, Neb., the daughter of Clyde Cecil and Bessie Holkan McFarland. She attended Webster City schools. She lived in Williams and Des Moines, where she worked for a dry cleaning business. Then she moved to rural Princeton in 1987.
On Dec. 22, 1951, she was married to Neal Vulgamott at Webster City. Her survivors are her husband, Neal, Princeton, Mo.; three daughters, Vivian Versteeg of Oxnard, Calif.; Reba Elifritze and her husband Mike of Princeton, Mo., and Cindy Boatright and her husband Danni of Indianola; two sons, Leslie Vulgamott and wife Sheila of Des Moines, and Davy Vulgamott and wife Kim of Des Moines; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, four brothers and a granddaughter.
