Judith Naber, 98, of Webster City, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008 at the Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008 at the Missionary Alliance Church in Blairsburg with Mark Petrie officiating. Burial was in the Graceland Cemetery. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Judith Hansel, daughter of Lewis and Janne Elleflaadt Hansel, was born November 1, 1909 on a farm north of Ellsworth. She received her education in a Rose Grove rural school. On February 14, 1930, she married Oltman C. Naber at Williams. The couple farmed northeast of Kamrar for 2 years, then west of Webster City for 13 years. In 1945, they moved to their home on Elm Street at Webster City. O.C. died November 20, 1994. She had been residing at Southfield Wellness Community.

Survivors include, nieces and nephews, Robert and Shirley Hansel of Ellsworth; Merlin and Ver Jean Janes of Alden, Ruth Silvest of Radcliffe, Ilene and Dwayne Draper of Webster City, Marge and Don Tjarks of Iowa Falls, Gerald Hansel of Hubbard, Shirley and Merlin Evans of Ellsworth, Eugene and Joan Swensen of Algona, and Lester and Darlene Swensen of Maple Grove, MN.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brothers, Sigurd and Otto Hansel; sister, Gudrun Swenson. She was a member of the Missionary Alliance Church.
