ARTHUR HENDERSON

Arthur Henderson, 81, of 3626 Bowdoin St. died of a heart ailment Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Henderson was born in Hamilton County, Iowa and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He retired as body shop foreman and assistant manager of the service department of Bett's Cadillac. He was a member of the Mechanic's Union.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; a son, Arthur Jr. of Des Moines; a daughter, Jacqueline King of Grand Junction, Colo.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
