ADA HENDERSON DIED

Funeral services were held at the Hamilton Funeral Home, Des Moines, Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock for Miss Ada Henderson, sister of Mrs. S.O. Britson of this place. The services were in charge of Rev. Emil F. Bergren, pastor of the Swedish Lutheran church in Des Moines, and burial services were held at the Mamrelund cemetery near Randall, at 1:30 o'clock in the afternoon with Rev. Allen E. Nelson, pastor of Bergen Lutheran church in Roland, officiating.

Ada Henderson was born near Randall, on June 27, 1886 and died in Des Moines on Saturday, August 1, 1942 at the age of 56 years, one month and four days. She was confirmed in the Bergen Lutheran church in Roland. At the age of 18 years, she moved to Marshalltown where she lived several years, after which she moved to Des Moines, where she has since resided. She followed the dressmaking trade, and recently had served as inspector of clothes for the government.

She is survived by six brothers, Charles of Lyle, Minn., Lewis of Des Moines, Norman of Richmond, Cal., Malvin of Nevada, Peter of McCallsburg, and Arthur of Des Moines, and two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Britson of Roland and Bertha Johnson of Des Moines.
