Leatrice J. Allen Smalley, 83, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Commital services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery in Webster City. A visitation will be held Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at Highland Park Funeral Home in Des Moines.

Mrs. Smalley, a longtime Webster City resident, was employed by Olson Pharmacy for many years. She retired in 1989.

She is survived by a son, Dennis (Margaret) Allen, Des Moines; a daughter, Carol (Steven) Thelke, Alden; two grandchildren, Corey and Scott Thelke, and a great-grandchild, Jayden Thelke; a brother and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Smalley; her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
