Obituary: Lehigh Valley Argus newspaper Sept 1, 1921: Born near Peoria, IL, July 24, 1855, died age 55 yrs, 22 days at Webster City, Iowa Hamilton Co. He died Aug 15, 1921 and was buried in Graceland Cemetery, south edge of Webster City, IA. Had been ill for 2 years, had a stroke that spring,. Married 1878 at Dayton, IA to Mary J Atkinson and had 2 children. He was survived by brother George of Corbin, MO and John of Purdy, MO, 2 children, 2 grandchildren; 4 sisters: Mrs. L E Larson of LaMoille, LA; Mrs. Mary Siders of Mrs. Ellen Henderson of Pittsburgh..
