Jean Walterman Bringer, age 75 of Chicago and formerly of Williams died Tuesday, November 13th at the Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago. . Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Saturday at the Surls Funeral Chapel in Williams with burial in the Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services.

Jean Walterman-Bringer was born on February 2, 1932 in Kamrar, Iowa, the daughter of Jerry and Berhardine Walterman. She was educated in the elementary country schools in Iowa, and graduated High School in Williams in 1949. She entered Broadlawn's Hospital School of Nursing in Des Moines, graduating in 1952 and began her nursing career in Webster City and later in Hollister, CA, Univ Hospital and Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, Michael Reese Medical Center in Chicago, IL and Mercy Medical Center also in Chicago, IL, where she retired in 1997. She was united in marriage to Gordon Bringer on March 6, 2004. She is survived by her husband, Gordon; two step-children, Jack Bringer and Sandra Bringer; grandchildren, Natasha, Sarah, Amir, Layla; two great grandchildren, Emily and Christopher; nieces, Donnette Pierce and Peggy Koontz; and nephews, Jerry Olson, James Olson, Mike Walterman, John Walterman, Chris Walterman, and Jeff Walterman; a cousin, Hio Simpson. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jeanette Olson and her twin, Joan Walterman; a brother, Johann Joe Walterman, twin brothers, and two sisters in infancy; a nephew, Edward Olson; a step daughter, Linda Bringer; a niece, Chic Lande; and a great nephew, Dillon Walterman
